Warden

Defense + Hunting

This is a spear build using piercing as it’s main source of damage and physical as it’s secondary source. Using the recommended armor pieces, the build has a lot of extra skills that allows having many skills and not all of them need to be allocated max points in order to have the maximum effectiveness.

While leveling, max out Battle Awareness, Rally, Shield Charge, Colossus and Take Down, Art of the Hunt, Study Prey. The skills shown below account for increased skill points from the selected armor. If you need extra skill points, remove points from Quick Recovery, Disable, Pulverize and Call of the Hunt.
Use the best items you can find in your playthrough that compliment the skills being used. You most likely won’t find all the items listed in this guide, and that’s ok, it will perform regardless. The items are just a nice bonus.

This will be your starting class, unlock each of the starting skills in the first tier, feel free to put a few extra points into each before continuing the mastery tree. Once you’re comfortable, head into the next mastery tier, and repeat the same steps, unlocking each skill before moving on. Just about all skills in the Defense mastery are used, so take it slow in acquiring each one.

This will be your secondary class. Defense mastery takes precedence over this mastery. While Hunting is important, put extra points into it as you can, rather then each time you level up. Grab Take Down as it is the first skill you can take. The Hunting mastery has many helpful skills to the build like Art of the Hunt, and Study Prey. When you reach these skills, put a few extra points into them to really capitalize on their benefit.

Attributes

Attribute points cannot be reset in Titan Quest. Keep your attribute points until you have equipment you cannot equip and allocate them as needed. Always retain your points until you need to spend them and ensure you have the stats to equip your endgame gear.

Required stats to wear the below gear;
STR – 603
DEX – 425
INT – 0

Armor

Given the difficulty at acquiring specific armor in the game without any third-party software, take the following items as recommendations. At the end of the day, use what you find that helps improve your total damage and survivability. This build uses Pierce as it’s main damage source. Keep your resistances as high as possible.

Helm
Alexander's Plummed Helm

Part of the Alexander’s set, this helpmet comes with some nice resistances, attack speed, and a chance to avoid projectiles. This is a common stat that will appear on other pieces of gear.

Torso
Alexandre's Cuirass

Part of the Alexander’s set, this chest piece comes with good resistances, a chance to avoid projectiles, and probably the greatest stat on here, an increase to all skills.

Bracers
Stonebinder's Cuffs

Arguably the best pair of gloves that can be found in the game, solely for its increase to all skills. This armor piece will have other stats on it, but these are the guaranteed stats available.

Alexander's Bracer

Part of the Alexander’s set, if you don’t want to use Stonebinder’s, using these as part of the set is your next best bet. This comes with good resistances, and a nice attack speed increase.

Greaves
Alexander's Greaves

Part of the Alexander’s set, these boots have good resistances, and have a dodge chance to all attacks. It also comes with a nice movement speed increase.

Accessories

Amulet
Myrmidon's Pendant

Mostly taken to cap out all resistances, this amulet comes with a very wide range of resistances and overall survivability increase. As a nice bonus, it also increases your physical damage.

Pendant of Immortal Rage

If you’re looking for a more offensive amulet, over one that increases your survivability, this is your best bet. An increase to all your physical damage, and adds physical damage of it’s own. As a nice bonus, it also comes with attack speed.

Rings
Apollo's Will

Apollo’s Will is a great ring. While we don’t take advantage of it’s increase projectile speed, it has great pierce damage increase and some decent resistances as well. Also comes with an increase to some Hunting skills.

Crest of MuRong

Mainly taken for it’s wide range of resistances. If you want more damage, consider using another Apollo’s Will instead.

Artifact
Talisman of the Jade Emperor

This is the best relic to have, and this applies to many other builds. This is mainly because of it’s easy reduced recharge rate to your skills. If you’re noticing a lack of resistances or survivability, consider using Apples of Idun instead.

Weapons

Alexander's Spear

Part of the Alexander’s set. Adding great pierce damage, bleeding and a minor skill increase. Since it’s part of the set, it makes this the best weapon to have for this builld.

Alexander's Pelta

Part of the Alexander’s set. If you want, you can replace this shield with Deimos. Since it is part of the Alexander set, it is used in this build.
