The sharpshooter excels at dispatching priority targets quickly and precisely. In this build, the Veteran’s main role is to support the team, in every way possible. The weapon choice for this build is very open. My favorite choice is the Chainsword, so it’s reliable enemy clearing, strong perk choice, and effective alternative attack mode to eat through armor. You could also use the Power Sword, as it’s alternative attack charge is very powerful. For weapons, the Heavy Laspistol is a great midrange weapon to use against elites, and other range enemies. If you prefer the longer range, consider the Lasgun XII can’t be matched in effectiveness at range. The skills in this build are heavily weighed towards supporting your team as much as possible, but you can always hold you own if you need to. This is a great build that will be of great help to your team in any mission.
This weapon comes recommended thanks to hits wide range of coverage with small enemies, armored enemies, and elites.
The 2 perks on the Chainsword work together. Both of them activate after hitting 3 enemies, making it ideal to use at the same time. With both perks active, you can hit nearly 3 times the amount of enemies, while dealing even more damage. The modifier for unarmoured enemies helps further with quickly clearing enemies, and Flak covers a large portion of frequent enemies and some specials/elites.
*Cleave is how many enemies you can hit per attack, before your weapon no longer hits enemies.
The Heavy Laspistol is recommended with this build since you’ll be playing alongside your allies, and having a close-mid range weapon to deal with range enemies, and Elites/Specials.
Infernus is a great perk to easily apply damage over time with burning. This effect is stackable, able to add up to 10 stacks of burning to enemies. This will be most noticeable with Monstrosities, and Ogryns, but any extra damage is good damage. Dumdum is a great perk that really pushes this weapon into the close-mid range distance. This is a stackable damage perk that activates simply on hits against close range enemies.
Flak and Maniac modifiers covers a wide range of enemy types that help keep this weapon effective against many different enemies.

Curios are really flexible, with only a couple perks that really benefit builds. In this case, Health can be substituted for Toughness if required, but health is still recommended. You will want at least 1 Curio to have 1 Wounds on it, wounds increase the amount of health bars you have. This is beneficial, especially on higher difficulties, as it allows some leeway if mistakes happen, or you get overwhelmed.
Stamina Regen is really important and should be the only modifier you go for one each Curio you use. Damage resistance vs Gunners is one of the best types of resistances to have, as Gunners can come in groups of multiples and can easily eliminate members of your team. Another recommendation is Sniper resistance, for instances that catch you offguard. Having one of these resistances can make the difference between going down and surviving.
