The sharpshooter excels at dispatching priority targets quickly and precisely. Using the MG XII Infantry Lasgun as your main weapon whenever possible, your role is to eliminate all Specials, Elites and gunners as soon as possible for your team. When required, use your melee weapon, the Assault Chainsword for hordes or when enemies get to close. It’s special attack is efficient, but does leave you vulnerable while performing it’s attack, don’t use it while surrounded. For hordes, the Shredder grenade will very efficiently clear them. Alternatively, use the chain sword to dispatch remaining enemies. You’ll want to avoid being on the front lines, and instead support your team from the rear.
Since this build is a range focus, the melee weapon fills the role of quickly clearing enemies around you so you can return to eliminating priority targets at a distance.
The 2 perks on the Chainsword work together. Both of them activate after hitting 3 enemies, making it ideal to use at the same time. With both perks active, you can hit nearly 3 times the amount of enemies, while dealing even more damage. The modifier for unarmoured enemies helps further with quickly clearing enemies, and Flak covers a large portion of frequent enemies and some specials/elites.
*Cleave is how many enemies you can hit per attack, before your weapon no longer hits enemies.
This build is primarily a range class, so this Lasgun makes the most sense to use. To fully benefit from this build, you have to be a sharpshooter, going for weakspots to get the maximum benefit from this weapon and its perks.
Both perks work together and benefit one another. Headhunter will continuously increase your critical hit chance every time you get a weakspot hit. With Deadly Accurate, your critical hit damage will deal up to 2x normal damage. This setup maximizes special and elite enemy elimination. It can also deal a substantial amount of damage against monstrosities, given you can hit their weakspot. The modifiers further benefit the weapon, by dealing more damage per weakspot hit, and helping with elites/specials with increased Flak damage.

Curios are really flexible, with only a couple perks that really benefit builds. In this case, Health can be substituted for Toughness if required, but health is still recommended. You will want at least 1 Curio to have 1 Wounds on it, wounds increase the amount of health bars you have. This is beneficial, especially on higher difficulties, as it allows some leeway if mistakes happen, or you get overwhelmed.
Stamina Regen is really important and should be the only modifier you go for one each Curio you use. Damage resistance vs Gunners is one of the best types of resistances to have, as Gunners can come in groups of multiples and can easily eliminate members of your team. Another recommendation is Sniper resistance, for instances that catch you offguard. Having one of these resistances can make the difference between going down and surviving.
