ARBITES

THE WALL

The Arbites is very versatile class, accompanied by a dog companion to help you deal with your campaign against enemies. The Wall is a fun build I tried to make based on using double shield weapons. I wanted a build that would reliably be in the front, both with it’s melee weapon, and range weapon. Being able to use both weapons within the same distance, you can stay in the enemies faces, alongside your dog, your teams job is going to be to keep range enemies off of you, while you keep the bulk of enemies off of them. Have fun with this build and freely rotate between both your weapons as needed.

WEAPONS

A very strong melee weapon that also comes with a shield for added survivability. There isin’t really anything that can compare to this very versatile weapon.

The blessings for this weapon are simple and don’t require much setup. High Voltage gives you increased damage to electrocuted enemies. Now, don’t worry if you don’t have a smite psyker on your team, you can activate your own electrocution. The special ability of the maul activate a lightning power attack, electrocuting enemies, giving you more damage overall. Use this effect against elites and bigger targets.
Confident Strike increases toughness on repeated hits. The more damage you do, the more toughness you gain back and in essence, the harder you have to kill.

For perks, Carapace and Maniacs account for some of the most annoying enemies in the game. Pair this with some electrocution bonus damage and you should be able to maul your way through them all.

The shotpistol with a riot shield is going to be your best choice here, keeping with the double shield aspect of the build. You’ll be able to use this range weapon even at range, and the blessings definitely play into the mentality.

Full Bore is going to increase your damage done by quite a bit just by getting all pellets in the same shot to hit the same enemy. If you’re using this weapon when you’re up close, which you should be, this will be an easy way to increase damage.
Fire Frenzy is the second blessing that also directly plays into the increase damage based on how close you are. Getting a kill increases damage for a short while, but more importantly, it also stacks, so that damage increase is going to kee building after every shot. If you can plan this out to get a couple kills before shooting an elite, you’ll do some massive increase damage.

Most elites comprise of Flak or Maniacs, at least, the more problematic ones. I like to deal extra damage against them to really secure the 1-2 shot kills alongside the blessings.

CURIOS

x2

Curios are really flexible, with only a couple perks that really benefit builds. In this case, Toughness can be substituted for Health if required, but Toughness is still recommended. You might want at least 1 Curio to have 1 Wounds on it, wounds increase the amount of health bars you have. This is beneficial, especially on higher difficulties, as it allows some leeway if mistakes happen, or you get overwhelmed.
Stamina Regen is pretty important, allowing you to keep you sprinting as needed. Since we use a shield, getting some better block efficiency can be beneficial. If you notice needed it, you can always swap to some Gunner resistance, as an added survivability option.
