ARBITES

FRONT LINE

The Arbites is very versatile class, accompanied by a dog companion to help you deal with your campaign against enemies. I am not entirely sure what to call this build, because you might think that every Arbites build is played in the fronts right beside the enemy. While you’re right, I think the offensive difference between this build and others make for a notable twist. The shock maul is an extremely strong maul and without the shield, you can maintain good movement and dodges around the field without much hinderance. The mine ability is an extremely strong crowd control utility tool, it can build distance between you and enemies, or control the field of battle to funnel enemies. Use it to your advantage whenever you think most opportunistic. The active ability of the build is going to stop your from sprinting during its duration, but its going to make you a walking tank, increasing walking movement speed, but more importantly reducing all damage taken by 80%. That paire with replenishing your toughness immediately, you’ll be nearly unkillable during its activation.

WEAPONS

A very strong melee weapon that relies solely on your aggression to shine. Forgoing the shield you get with other options, you can easily move around the field and stay on the offense in the front line of combat.

Execution is an easy way to increase damage, so long as you’re knocking down enemies with your pushback, you’ll keep them staggered for more damage. You’ll also take advantage of your allies causing stagger. Confident Strike is going to help keep you alive by regaining toughness on repeated hits. So long as there are enemies to hit, you can regain your toughness.

The more problematic enemy types are going to be Unyielding, and Maniacs. For the perks we’ll take these two for added damage.

Since you’ll be in the fronts, face to face with enemies, you’ll need an instant delete weapon. That being said, welcome to the Exterminator Shotgun.

Born in Blood is another tool blessing to keep you alive, regaining toughness on any range kill when done in close range. Fire Frenzy is what we’ll keep to delete enemies, increase damage by up to 50% when fully stacked. Turn that towards elites and delete them quickly.
If you’re feeling comfortable, you can forgo Born in Blood for another damage blessing like Full Bore, or Deathsplitter based on personal preference.

Perks are going to include some of the more annoying enemy types such as Flak, and Maniacs. You could go for Unyielding too, but I prefer to deal better damage against a more common enemy type.

CURIOS

x3

Curios are really flexible, with only a couple perks that really benefit builds. In this case, Toughness can be substituted for Health if required, but Toughness is still recommended. You might want at least 1 Curio to have 1 Wounds on it, wounds increase the amount of health bars you have. This is beneficial, especially on higher difficulties, as it allows some leeway if mistakes happen, or you get overwhelmed.
If you notice needed it, you can always swap to some Gunner resistance, as an added survivability option.
