A near pure Nightblade build with a major emphasis on cold damage, save for 4 skills, we take every available skill. With a high potency in cold damage, we also grab some pierce damage to compliment our offensive arsenal. This build is a high mobility, quick striking type build. Thankfully, with this build we can focus all our attribute points in physique for help with our survivability. This build works well in group games, but is also very capable in solo gameplay.
All cold skills are very important with this build. Amarasta’s Blade Burst, Veil of Shadows, Shadow Strike, Star Pact, etc. While the skills are important, the gear we use heavily influences some of our skills. For example, Deathmarked Hood converts 100% pierce damage from Amarasta’s Quick Cut to cold damage. Luckily this build works without any Rare items that rely on specific Prefix’s and Suffix’s, so it makes it will make it easier to farm for and get ahold of these items. The Deathmarked set is the center point of this build, complimented by the Alkamos’ set of rings to enhance our already strong cold skills. While in the early game, feel free to assign points to Cunning and Spirit as needed in order to equip higher level gear. We can always undo the skill assignment to put them back in Physique.
This will be your starting class, focusing on, well, nearly every skill this class has to offer. Main skills will be Dual Blades, Amarasta’s Blade Burst, Shadow Strike, and Veil of Shadows. Dual Blades will allow us to Dual Wield immediately into our build, and alters our default attacks. Amarasta’s Blade Burst is a powerful cold skill, best used as our right mouse button. Shadow Strike is a nice mobility skill, but also a good instant cast for high damage. Veil of Shadows is always active and reduces enemies ability to defend themselves against our range of attacks. Pneumatic burst is a nice healing ability, and lastly, the passive skills chosen are a nice addition to our range of skills.
This will be your secondary class, it comes with a few skills able to help our overall build. A decent amount of cold damage comes from the toggle skills chosen in the class. We also go into our spirit management and survivability with our chosen passive abilities. Overall, this class pairs nicely with the amount of skills we have from our Nightblade class, and the overall focus on Cold damage.
