A unique take between a “tank” class and a caster. This build has the ability to stand its ground against most bosses while throwing out amazing damage with its small, but powerful range of skills. This build is heavily oriented to poison damage and damage over time. With the damage over time playstyle, it allows us to focus on survivability while our damage is already stacking on enemies.
Most the skills chosen in this build do not have poison damage in them by default, this is why we take the modifier skill to change the damage type of each of the skills. This allows us to create new and interesting build with a different variation of armor and abilities. Righteous Fervor and Aegis of Menhir are the main skills taken from the Oathkeeper class as our main damage sources. Path of the Three is the exclusive skill chosen for this build as it adds more poison damage to the build and extends the durations that it is applied for. The Occultist class is the bread and butter of the build, Dreeg’s Evil Eye is a huge damage source for the build, and Curse of Frailty weaken enemies to all of our poison attacks. Blood of Dreeg acts as another healing source for our build while adding on to our damage again. This build is very focused on its damage sources, and thanks to it’s gear choice and class selection, we also have great survivability.
This will be your starting class, focusing on Righteous Fervor as our main attack skill, following up with Aegis of Menhir as an optional right mouse button ability. It is really important to take Dreeg’s Reproach and Aegis of Thorns to change the damage type of both the main skills from this class. Path of the Three will increase all our poison damage throughout the build. Neither class has a significant importance over the other, level both classes evenly.
This will be your secondary class, Dreeg’s Evil Eye will be crucial to this build, it comes as a huge damage source. Since we are not a caster and already have a new default attack skill, we want to take Focused Gaze from Dreeg’s Evil Eye tree. This will increase our overall damage with the ability while adding a small cooldown. Focus on this skill and the mastery bar while leveling.
