Rain of Fire

If you like the radiant buff, and using a fusion rifle, this build is for you. Every final blow with your fusion rifles or linear fusion rifles, will make you radiant, increasing your damage for the duration of the buff. As an added bonus, when you Icarus Dash in the air, it will reload all your weapons. It also increases the airborn effectiveness of your fusion rifles. Rain of Fire was made to pair with Vex Mythoclast as it is the only primary ammo fusion rifle in the game.

Aspects
Heat Rises is very useful to this build. It allows you to shoot while you glide with your jump. As an added bonus, consuming your grenade will allow you to glide longer. Getting kills while floating with Heat Rises will extend the duration of itself. Icarus Dash provides an airborn dodge skill that can be used. While you are airborn, rapidly defeating targets will grant Cure to you. Finally, while you have heat rises activated, you gain an additional dodge charge.

Fragment
Ember of Searing will create Firesprites when killing any scorched enemy. It does have a short cooldown between activations. Firesprites provide grenade energy when collected. Ember of Char will spread scorch to all enemies within the vicinity of an ignition. This helps control the field and continuously spread scorch to everyone. Ember of Solace extends the duration of your radiant buff, and your restoration. Allowing for a longer duration between kills before you buff runs out. Ember of Mercy will apply restoration to you and other when you revive allies. More importantly, you also gain restoration when you collect Firesprites.

Weapon Recommendation

Exotic Weapon(s)

Vex Mythoclast

Probably the best exotic weapon to use here. Vex is the only primary ammo fusion rifle in the game. Since Rain of Fire makes you radiant after each fusion rifle final blow, this is the natural choice for this build. The alternate fire mode is particularly helpful to deal with tougher enemies without using your special or heavy weapon.

Calus Mini-Tool

The Calus Mini-Tool SMG can roll with Incandescant which is very strong with any scorching build.

Cartesian Coordinate

This is a great rapid-fire fusion rifle that can output great damage. With the Vorpal weapon perk, it is great for bosses.

Cataclysmic

Cataclysmic is amazing for boss damage. It is particularly powerful for any distant DPS requirement.

Perk Recommendation

Incandescant or Demolitionist

Any weapon with Incandescant is ideal for this build. Because Incandescant will Scorch targets for each final blow. The more scorch stacks on enemies the better since it helps with solar ignitions as well. You could also get away with Demolitionist, it won’t synergize quite as well with this build, but it will help you keep your grenade energy charged.

Either one of these siphons works for the build. Recommend using the less expensive one that is currently available.
