This exotic is considered a “swap exotic”. Put it on for a limited duration for a specific purpose, and then go back and use a more general exotic that has better benefits. Check out Fallen Sunstar or Crown of Tempest builds and use this exotic for damage phases. If you don’t want to worry about swapping exotic pieces, then use the following build. Geomag Stabilizers increases the total duration of Chaos Reach by up to 100%, depending on the amount of hits done during the super.
One of the most important aspects is Arc Soul. This aspect will spawn a Arc Soul to fight with you when you cast your rift. The Arc Soul is capable of Jolting targets on its own, spawning Ionic Traces to help with ability regeneration. Allies that pass through your rift will also get an Arc Soul to help them. If you are amplified, your Arc Soul will be supercharged, which will gain increase fire rate. Electrostatic Mind is very important to the entire functionality of the build, as it will create Ionic Traces from all ability kills, and Jolted enemy kills. You are also amplified after collected an Ionic Trace.
Spark of Resistance increases your damage resistance to all incoming damage while surrounded by enemies. This makes surviving in the middle of fights much easier. Spark of Shock makes your grenade Jolt targets now, spawning Ionic Traces that provide ability regeneration. Spark of Ions will make more Ionic Traces by defeating any Jolted target. This is important as any regeneration to our abilities build into the amount of grenades/melee and rifts we can use. Spark of Magnitude increases the duration that your grenades last. This means our single grenade throw can Jolt even more targets that walk into it.

Defeating jolted targets creates Ionic Traces.
Spark of Magnitude
Increase the duration of your Pulse Grenade.
Spark of Resistance
Increase damage resistance while enemies are nearby.
Spark of Shock
Pulse Grenade now jolts enemies
Spawn your Arc Soul, and heal while standing in it.
Best overall movement jump for the Warlock.
Throw a Arc Ball forward that releases a lightning strike.
Best option to apply jolt to as many enemies as possible.
While this build does not have any exotic weapon restrictions, if you want to use one, I recommend Thunderlord. It does great Arc damage against bosses, and because it’s a machine gun, it can easily take care of any enemies in between. Not the best weapon to use against raid bosses, but can still perform in a pinch.
Ikelos is a very strong SMG that can roll with the Voltshot perk. Highly recommended in this build.
Forbearance is a great wave frame grenade launcher. Able to do great damage and good enemy control.
Hothead is one of the best rocket launchers in the game. One of the best weapons to use against just about any boss.
Voltshot or Demolitionist
Any weapon with Voltshot is ideal for this build. Because Voltshot will jolt targets, creating more Ionic Traces and keeping our abilities charged. You could also get away with Demolitionist, it won’t synergize quite as well with this build, but it will help you keep your grenade energy charged.
Arc Siphon/Harmonic Siphon
Either one of these siphons works for the build. Recommend using the less expensive one that is currently available.
Ashes to Assets
Generate super energy on grenade kills.
Font of Wisdom (opt)
Increase Intellect for a short while.
Grenade kills create Orbs of Power
Bolstering Detonation (opt)
Generate class ability energy when dealing grenade damage.
Use the appropriate element resistance that corresponds with the activity you are doing.
Arc Weapon Surge
While having active armor charges, your arc weapon damage is increased.
Reduce grenade cooldown with each Orb of Power pickup
Reduce all ability cooldowns with each Orb of Power pickup.
You can retain armor charges for a longer period of time
Reduce your grenade cooldown when you use your class ability
