This build is for the main purpose of keeping yourself, and your allies invisible. This is particularly strong in nightfalls, grand masters, and some raid encounters. Omnioculus grants a second melee charge, and increases your damage resistance while invisible. When you make your allies invisible, they also gain damage resistance, and you regain 50% of your melee charge per ally you make invisible. This build is unmatched when it comes to keeping yourself, or allies, invisible through activities the game has to offer.

Trapper’s Ambush is a great aspect mainly used to alter your melee ability slightly. It will now make you and allies invisible when thrown near to yourself or teammates. You can also now activate “Quickfall”, this is consume your powered melee charge. You will dive to the ground and create a large smoke cloud on impact. This will weaken enemies and make allies invisible.  Vanishing Step is a simple aspect, dodging will now make you invisible.

Echo of Persistence
is a strong fragment for this build. It will increase the duration of all void buffs applied to you. Echo of Starvation allows you to gain the Devour effect by picking up Orbs of Power. Devour heals you, and provides grenade ability energy for each final blow. Additionally, getting final blows while Devour is active will increase it’s duration. Echo of Obscurity will provide invisibility whenever you perform a finisher. Echo of Harvest will ensure a constant stream of orbs of power and void breaches. Whenever you defeat a weakened target, you will create both.

Gambler’s Dodge
Dodging near enemies will fully refund your melee ability.

Triple Jump
Best overall movement jump for the Hunter.

Snare Bomb
Throwable smoke bomb that can attach to surfaces and weakens enemies.

Vortex Grenade
A lingering grenade that remains on the ground at the impact location for short duration.

Weapon Recommendation
Exotic Weapon(s)

A strong contender for an exotic weapon to use with this void build. The main focus is collecting Orbs of Power, doing so will increase this weapons damage for a short duration. The weapon by default rotated between 3 power levels that deal increasing damage, before restarting at 1. Orbs of Power will keep the weapon shooting at level 3. This paired with gaining Devour, and ability energy, there should be no shortage of Orbs of Power or carnage with this build.

Legendary Weapon(s)

Funnelweb is a strong option as a void SMG. It offers competing perks that allow it to output great damage.

Harsh Language

A very strong wave frame grenade launcher. It can have the perk destabilizing rounds, which makes enemies nearby volatile.


One of the best void machine guns available, and is easily the best combination to have.

Perk Recommendation

Destabilizing Rounds // Demolitionist // Repulsor Brace


Any weapon with the above perks will benefit the build and work with it. Destabilizing Rounds will make enemies nearby to the enemies defeated Volatile. Demolitionist increases grenade ability regeneration for each final blow. Repulsor Brace heals your and applies a void overshield when you defeat enemies affected by any void debuff. This includes suppress, volatile, or any weaken effects.

Either one of these siphons works for the build. Recommend using the less expensive one that is currently available.


Ashes to Assets
Generate super energy on Grenade kills.


Font of Wisdom (opt)
Increase Intellect for a short while.

Impact Induction
Causing damage with your Melee attack will reduce your grenade cooldown


Element Resistance
Use the appropriate element resistance that corresponds with the activity you are doing.


Void Weapon Surge
While having active armor charges, your Void weapon damage is increased.

Reduce grenade cooldown with each Orb of Power pickup

Absolution (opt)
Reduce all ability cooldowns with each Orb of Power pickup.


Time Dilation
You can retain armor charges for a longer period of time
